Fort Velasco Day

Fort Velasco Day commemorates the 190th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Velasco. This living history event will bring reenactors from across the state to give visitors a glimpse of what life and conflict was like at the mouth of the Brazos River in 1830s Texas. This event will coincide with the Fort Velasco exhibit.
