Los Vivos y Los Muertos is an exhibition featuring art that explores and honors the cultures, heritage, traditions and rich history of Mexico and the southwest United States with a concentration on work inspired by Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

Features a 30-foot dome equipped with a Spitz Star Ball projector to produce the night sky as it appears to the naked eye, together with a large variety of high tech equipment to give a close- up feel for things like comets, exploding stars, and black holes.  

Join us as we congratulate The Salvation Army on their new renovations with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, March 21st at 3 p.m., located at 1618 N. Ave. J in Freeport!

On the third Thursday of every month at 5:30 PM, join the Lake Jackson Historical Museum for an enticing history lesson. Admission is $5.  Visit www.ljhistory.org/calendar to buy tickets!
