Los Vivos y Los Muertos is an exhibition featuring art that explores and honors the cultures, heritage, traditions and rich history of Mexico and the southwest United States with a concentration on work inspired by Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

This exhibit shares the narratives of the enslaved who labored local plantations as well as exploring the politics and personalities involved in the slave trade. Original artifacts from local plantation sites will be on display.
